Washington DC- A Photo Set
This summer, one of my very best friends recieved an internship working in DC. Since most of my other friends had never been before, we decided to fly up for a few days and visit her.#pepsinthecity
New Carrollton to Downtown on the Metro each day. Most of the time it was a pleasant ride, other than when the homeless man jumped into our car and smelled the place up like urine for 7 stops.
For some reason we didn't think it was stupid to put the tallest person
in the middle so that her head strategically blocked the view of the
White House.
From Louisiana to Texas- getting ready for the big move.
Lincoln Memorial
Of course, as the world would have it, my favorite person visited DC
just two days before me. I had to take this cheesy matching picture.
Always prepared and ready to party, rain or shine.
Capitol Hill
Hotel party with pizza, wine and beer.
Washington National Cathedral
I don't think that I have ever mentioned this, but on every trip that I go on, I always try to bring back an elephant of some sort. Seeing as I was in DC, I had to bring back a Republican elephant.
First, the Newseum is an incredible museum and I would highly recommend it to anyone- even if you don't like museums.
Second, I have the best and strangest group of friends I could ever ask for. Sometimes they drive me absolutely nuts but I wouldn't trade them or the years I have had them in my life in for the world.
